It wonderful to see all of you and the students have started to settle back into routine.
Just a reminder that as the school receives new registrations over the few weeks, there could always be some class reorganization. We know that it not easy for the students or families when this happens but the school needs to follow provincial class size guidelines.

This is an update for the school happenings the next couple of weeks.
  Monday, October 24 th  is a provincial professional activity day and there are no classes for students that day. Classes resume on Tuesday, October 25th and it will be a day 4 on the school cycle.   October 25th-Oct. 28 th  is Walk and Roll week at Fairport Beach! Students are encouraged to leave the car at home and walk/bike/scooter/skateboard to school.  All students...

Thanks again to all of our parent volunteers that helped out with the Markham Fair trip! It seemed like poeple had fun taking in the sights and sounds.
We held our first SCC meeting this week and our next one is scheduled for Monday, November 14th at 6pm.  We are looking for someone interested in taking on the treasurer position at this time.
Don't forget that Monday, October 10th is a holiday. When we return to class on Octpber 11th it will be a day 5.

Our Meet the Teacher evening will take place on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 6:30-7:30pm.  It is meant to give you a chance to meet your children's teacher (if you haven't already) and see your child's classroom.  It will be a casual format, so feel free to drop in anytime between 6:30-7:30pm.  If you wish to have a longer discussion with your child's teacher, you will be able to sign up for an interview time at a later date.  Food will be available for purchase...
